I couldn't have hoped for a better teacher, Jon is very friendly, constantly supportive and encouraging yet eager to challenge you and make constant progress. With each lesson I improved some aspect of my driving, when I found something difficult he was patient, and when I made mistakes he helped me learn from them and turn them into a positive. I feel I've been given a very high standard of tuition and am now equipped to be a safe driver. The LDC system is fantastic too, I would recommend Jon to anyone wishing to learn to drive.

I recommend Jon as a brilliant instructor. Jon is friendly, easy to get along with and willing to work around work as well as giving you the best teaching and advice to pass your test. Also the LDC equipment given to pass both my theory and practical tests were really helpful. However, I really enjoyed my lessons with Jon. Without his help I would have not passed first time. I learned to drive with Jon using the LDC Intensive course which packs all the usual lessons into just 1 week. The scheduled 5 hours of driving a day was very tiring but Jon is very friendly and he changed the schedule to help me get a better break over lunchtime. The LDC book and DVD were very useful as I went through the entire course before I got in the car with Jon so I knew what to expect. I still can't believe that a week ago I couldn't drive and now I have a full licence! All credit to Jon for getting me through in such a short timescale.

Jon is an incredibly calm yet relaxed driving instructor who has excellent knowledge of driving as a whole. Always willing and able to answer any questions or queries I had, he always went the extra mile to ensure that we made the most use out of the time we had which was useful, as I was on a mid-way pass intensive course. I learned to drive with Jon between October 2010 and May 2010, and passed second time around with one fault. Jon is an excellent instructor, with a very good understanding of how to get nervous learners ready for the road. Jon’s relaxed approach particularly helps older learners to learn from their mistakes! The LDC system is accessible and easy to understand, and it was very helpful to reinforce lessons with books and dvds. I would heartily recommend Jon and the LDC to anyone.

I took my lessons and test in my own car which is also an automatic. Jon is an excellent teacher and extremely calm with a great sense of humour which really put me at ease. I was a very nervous pupil to start with but Jon made driving fun and a pleasure and I will always be thankful to him for that. Jon is great to have as a driving instructor, i've had a great experience with him. He was patient when I must have had him at the end of his tether! The DVD is definately good for those that struggle to learn from reading, but personally, the LDC book was what really helped me. I can honestly say I can drive now and several months ago, beleive me that was a different story!

I really enjoyed my lessons with Jon. He's friendly and personable and he really wants you to do your best and pass! He explains things so clearly and is happy for you to ask anything, even if it seems really silly. The LD system worked really well for me as you can go into a lesson understanding a concept as you've seen and read about it before hand. It also gives you confidence as you are able to check things anytime you're unsure.

I started my driving lessons on a semi-intensive course, learning like this was a great way to learn the basic driving skills. However I failed my first test. Later on I continued my lessons in a more spread out schedule and passed on my second attempt. Both Jon and LDC were very patient and helpful throughout and I am extremely grateful for the help that they have given me.

I took the intensive driving - midway pass course, which covered all areas of driving from manoeuvres, to roundabouts, clutch control and dual carriageways. I felt Jon, taught me very well and gave me a lot of confidence going into my driving test. I passed first time and this was down to the LDC programme and having a good driving instructor.
